Prepping for Writing due next Week (Sept 11)

Prepping for Writing due next Week (Sept 11)

Hi everyone,

Really interesting for me to look over all your data collection as you attempt to trace your literacies. Thank you for your efforts! I created a very short video (less than 3 minutes) that talks through how we might work with all your data. You’ll want to check out the assignment that’s due in about a week (Sept 11) on our Make Cycle 1 page, which asks you to work with your data and your peers’ data. I’ll also create a video that talks a bit more about that assignment too and share soon. There are a couple student examples for part 2 of the assignment under the assignment description.

Here’s how I would get organized for that writing assignment:

  • The assignment asks you to write about the reading this week (The Skin We Ink), so you’ll need to comment and read that in Perusall by Monday night (Sept 7)
  • I would read the assignment description and the student examples
  • I would watch the video below and look over the Google Doc with our data that I mention in the video.
  • When Kim (that’s me) posts the video that explains the assignment, I would watch that too.
  • Finally, you’ll need your notes from tracing your literacies.

Thanks everyone!
