Week 4: Quantified Selves

Week 4: Quantified Selves

Hi everyone,

Hope you’re staying safe and healthy. Thank you for your continued work in these challenging times; I really enjoy reading your insights.

I’ve released the Make Cycle 2 page, which focuses on our Quantified Self. What do we track and who tracks us? Why do we track things like “likes” or our followers or our steps or other health data? Like Make Cycle 1, we’ll follow these routines: discover, read, write, then make. We’ll research/discover our quantified selves, read about the way EdTech tracks us and comment in Perusall, write about an article and reflect on your quantified self, and then Make something that reflects what you learned in this Make Cycle.

Short video below with some further insights. Less than 5 minutes…

Thank you again for all your work!
Kim
