When I was young, my parents would argue over whose turn it was to read bedtime stories because t often took four or five books to satisfy my young mind. This has not ceased. I still absolutely love to read. My favorite types of literature are police mystery and anything that involves sports. Along with reading, writing short stories has always been one of my favorite activities. I would sit with a notebook for hours creating characters and throw them into different scenarios.  Apart from reading and writing, baseball, basketball, and football are my other favorite activities. With the degree in English Ed. that I am currently pursuing, I plan on teaching high school and also coaching the high schools baseball team. That has been my dream since about 3rd grade and it blows my mind that I am actually pursuing it and getting closer each day. I look forward to a wonderful semester with all of you.
