Article Groups

All of the article group presentations have been both interesting and fun, which I’m pretty sure is the point of looking into these new literacy pathways. I think that each group has sufficiently provided us with new ideas for learning in the classroom and opened up doorways that we may not have thought about before. The platforms we discovered in the 21st Century Literacy were enguaging and eyeopening- I’m sure in the next 10 years many classrooms will be using most of those programs for teaching. The Gaming group did a great job as well–playing games and fun competition have always been a great way to teach in the class, but now with new technologies I’m sure that it can be taken to a whole new level. Its strange to think about the different methods of teaching that are always changing and adapting to technology and society and how the ways in which we were taught may be outdated soon. I thought the project was a good way to show how to liven things up as a teacher and help students interact with each other and be more creative with their learning experiences.
