Welcome to English 332: Spring 2022

photo of Kim JaxonHello everyone!

You’ve found your way to our course website; welcome! I look forward to working together this semester.

No books to buy; we’ll be doing our reading in a platform called Perusall, which supports shared annotations. We’ll join Perusall and get situated in our first class session; bring a laptop, tablet, phone if you have one. No worries if not; I’ll bring an extra laptop. If you want to jump ahead, you can find instructions for joining Perusall on the “Week 1: Getting Situated” page linked here.

We’ll be wearing masks together in class for the near future, but I’m thrilled to be in person with y’all.

This is one of my favorite classes. It’s a fascinating time to be thinking about literacy, especially digital literacy. I am here to support your efforts: feel free to reach out with any questions any time. You got this.
